Brooks County, TX – One Killed In 4-Vehicle Crash On Highway 285

Brooks County, TX (May 1, 2019) – On April 30, the Texas Department of Public Safety responded to a collision on Highway 285.

DPS reports that three semi-trucks collided with another motor vehicle along the roadway for unknown reasons. The cause of the incident remains under investigation at this time. One person was pronounced deceased at the scene of the collision.

Numerous people were injured in the collision. HALO-Flight responded to the area to transport victims to area hospitals in both Kingsville and Corpus Christi.
