Harris County, TX – Man Killed In Pedestrian Crash On Thompson Road

Harris County, TX (May 1, 2019) – Around 9 p.m., emergency crews responded to the scene of a pedestrian crash in the 7400 block of Thompson Road.

According to the Harris County deputies, a maroon Chevrolet van was traveling south along Thompson Road when it struck the victim, who was in the middle of the roadway. The driver of the van went down the road and turned around to return to the scene of the incident. The driver attempted to locate the man struck, but was unable to do so.

The driver’s call to 911 lead Highlands Firefighters and deputies to the scene, who were able to locate the man in a ditch next to the roadway. The pedestrian was pronounced deceased at the scene of the incident.
