El Paso, TX – Robert Derrick Davalos Saenz Killed In Crash On Fred Wilson Ave
El Paso, TX (May 2, 2019) – On Wednesday, May 2, police and emergency crews responded to the scene of a motorcycle collision on Fred Wilson Avenue near Alabama Street.
The incident occurred just after 8:30 a.m. According to reports, 38-year-old Robert Derrick Davalos Saenz was traveling on a 2001 Suzuki Volusia motorcycle with 25-year-old Deva Davalos when they ran a red light at the intersection. In passing through the intersection, a 2002 Chevrolet Impala, driven by 60-year-old Mike Barton, struck the motorcycle.
Davalos Saenz was pronounced deceased at the scene of the incident. Deva Davalos was transported to an area hospital with serious injuries. The driver of the Impala was uninjured in the collision.
