Houston, TX – One Person Killed In Crash On Interstate 45
Houston, TX (May 2, 2019) – On May 2, Houston Police and emergency crews responded to the scene of a three-vehicle collision on Interstate 45 around 1:15 a.m.
According to police, a black Lexus was traveling down the interstate when it struck a retaining wall. After striking the wall, the Lexus was engulfed in flames. An unknown vehicle was traveling down the roadway when it struck the Lexus, causing it to spin around completely before being struck by a red Pontiac Grand Prix. The Grand Prix caught on fire due to the impact of the collision.
The driver of the black Lexus was pronounced deceased at the scene of the incident. The driver of the Grand Prix was uninjured in the collision. The driver of the unidentified vehicle fled the scene of the incident before emergency crews arrived.
