Houston, TX – Ronald Ellerbeck Identified In Crash On Harrisburg Blvd

Houston, TX (May 2, 2019) – On May 1, Houston Police announce the victim of the Harrisburg Boulevard collision in April.

Crash reports show that 6 p.m. on April 15, a collision occurred in the 3400 block of Harrisburg Boulevard. 31-year-old Ronald Lorne Ellerbeck was traveling along Harrisburg Boulevard in a Toyota 4Runner when he attempted to make an illegal left turn onto Sampson Street.

After turning, Ellerbeck’s vehicle was struck by a METRORail trail. Ellerbeck was injured in the collision and transported to Ben Taub Hospital for medical treatment. The 29-year-old passenger in the Toyota, who has been identified as Luke Shaffer, was uninjured.
