San Antonio, TX – Two Women Struck By Car On UTSA Boulevard

San Antonio, TX (May 3, 2019) – On Thursday, May 2, San Antonio Police Department responded to the scene of a double pedestrian hit and run in the 5500 block of UTSA Boulevard.

Around 2 a.m., two women were standing in the parking lot of The Well when a woman attempted to back out of a parking spot. The woman was backing out at an accelerated rate of speed when she struck the two pedestrians.

One woman hit was thrown to the ground. The second woman jumped up onto the vehicle but was thrown off when the driver sped away. The driver fled the scene of the incident, leaving the two females injured on the ground.

Both women sustained road rash and other injuries and were transported to University Hospital for medical treatment.
