Tynan, TX – Drivers Killed In Highway 359 Crash Identified
Tynan, TX (May 3, 2019) – On May 2, around 10:30 a.m., the San Patricio County Sheriff’s Office and the Texas Department of Public Safety responded to the scene of a two-vehicle collision on Highway 359.
According to reports, 37-year-old Jason Allen Wyant was traveling east on State Highway 359 in a 2012 Dodge Durango while 53-year-old Lawrence Schroeder was traveling west along the same highway in a 2015 Chevy Silverado, as well as a 2015 Ford Explorer.
For unknown reasons, Mr. Wyant lost control of his vehicle, causing him to enter the westbound lanes, striking the rear side of the Explorer before crashing into the Silverado head-on.
Both Mr. Wyant and Mr. Schroeder sustained fatal injuries and were pronounced deceased at the scene of the collision.
