Westlake, TX – One Killed in Crash On US 377 Near Texas 170

Westlake, TX (May 3, 2019) – On Thursday, May 2, police and emergency crews responded to the scene of a collision on US 377.

The incident occurred around 10:30 p.m. According to reports, a driver was traveling south on US 377 and Texas-170 in Westlake when he ran a red light and struck an 18-wheeler. For unknown reasons, a third car was involved in the collision as well.

One male driver was killed in the incident and pronounced deceased at the scene of the incident. The driver’s female passenger was not seriously injured and she was released from the scene by police.
