Smith County, TX – Woman Dies After RV Catches on Fire on FM 14

Smith County, TX (May 4, 2019) On the 4th of May, a fatal RV incident occurred on FM 14 just north of Loop 323.

A fire broke out in an RV at the Northgate Mobile Home Park for unspecified reasons. The fire broke out in the bathroom of the RV, which did not contain smoke detectors.

When emergency crews made it to the RV, they found a 52-year-old and her dog dead at the scene.

Authorities are investigating to determine what caused the fire to break out and they’re also performing an autopsy.
