Vehicle Accidents in Texas
Statistics show that whenever vehicle collisions happen after the sun goes down, the leading cause is usually driving while under the influence. In 2016, twenty-seven percent of people who lost their lives on Texas roads were involved in DUI accidents. It’s easy for drunk drivers to collide with other vehicles late at night because their vision becomes blurred and their reaction times become delayed. Therefore, they’re more prone to inaccurately assess another vehicle’s proximity to their own, making them more likely to rear-ended, T-bone, or collide head-on with other vehicles.
