Pedestrian Accidents in Texas

Waxahachie, TX - Police Officer Injured in Pedestrian Accident on I-35Sadly, about 144 police officers have lost their lives so far this year. Whenever police officers are hit by vehicles, it’s usually because of negligence.

When drivers are using their phones while on the highway, they risk accidentally striking pedestrians, especially since they don’t expect to see them on highways. However, drivers are expected to always look out for pedestrians no matter what time of day, and no matter what type of roadway. When drivers choose to partake in other activities while driving, they risk seriously harming themselves and others.
