Amarillo, TX – Several Injured In Bus Crash On South Taylor
Amarillo, TX (May 6, 2019) – On Monday, May 6, just before 9:30 a.m., Amarillo Police Department responded to the scene of a collision on South Taylor.
The incident occurred in the area of 100 South Taylor. According to reports, two school buses for the Sanford-Fritch ISD were traveling through the area for a field trip. One of the school buses rear-ended another from the same district.
The impact of the collision caused injuries to three individuals on board the bus, including the driver and two students. The injured persons were transported to Northwest Texas Hospital. Approximately 80 students on board the bus were evaluated by medical professionals on the scene. Those not transported to area hospitals for treatment returned to the school’s campus.
