Amarillo, TX – Tristan Stewart Killed In Crash On SW 9th Ave

Amarillo, TX (May 6, 2019) – On May 5, Amarillo Police Department officers were dispatched to the scene of a motorcycle collision on Southwest 9th Avenue and Bushland Boulevard.

According to police, around 5:50 p.m., 34-year-old Tristan Stewart was traveling west along 9th Avenue when he lost control of his motorcycle. As a result, the bike crossed the center lines, entering into the eastbound lanes. The motorcycle was then struck head-on by a 2007 Dodge Grand Caravan.

The 64-year-old driver of the Caravan was injured in the collision and transported to an area hospital for treatment.

Stewart sustained fatal injuries and was pronounced deceased at the scene of the collision.
