Dallas, TX – Tow Truck Driver Killed In Interstate 35 East Crash

Dallas, TX (May 6, 2019) – Just after 2:30 a.m. on May 6, police and emergency crews responded to the scene of a collision on Interstate 35 East near Empire Central.

According to reports, a tow truck and another vehicle collided along the interstate for unknown reasons. The impact of the collision caused the tow truck driver to lose control of his vehicle. As a result, the tow truck driver lost control of his vehicle and struck a guard rail on the side of the road.

After crashing into the rail on the side of the road, the tow truck then crossed the service road and struck a tree. The driver of the tow truck was pronounced deceased at the scene of the incident.

The driver in the other car was injured and transported to an area hospital for medical treatment.
