Dumas, TX – Luz Lopez Killed In Crash On FM 2203

Dumas, TX (May 6, 2019) – On Friday, May 3, Texas Department of Public Safety responded to the scene of a collision on FM-2203.

According to DPS, 24-year-old Luz Lopez was traveling along FM-2203 when she pulled out in front of a semi-truck at the intersection of FM-119.

The semi-truck struck the driver side of Lopez’s truck, causing significant damage to the vehicle. Lopez sustained fatal injuries and was pronounced deceased at the scene of the incident by DPS officers. The driver of the semi-truck was uninjured in the collision.
