New Braunfels, TX – Highway 337 Drunk Driver Accident Leaves 1 Injured

New Braunfels, TX (May 6, 2019) – On Saturday, May 4, police and emergency crews responded to the scene of a car accident on Highway 337.

The incident occurred around 10:40 p.m. According to reports, a driver in a pickup truck was travelling north along Highway 337 when he crossed into the southbound lanes. The truck slammed into a car, which had two occupants inside.

One woman inside the car was seriously injured. The woman was flown to SAMMC in critical condition where she remains.

The driver of the pickup truck was arrested at the scene and charged with intoxication assault.
