Austin, TX – Alexann Dillard Charged For Palm Way Hit And Run

Austin, TX (May 7, 2019) – On May 5, Austin-Travis County EMS responded to the scene of a pedestrian hit and run accident in front of The Domain in the 3100 block of Palm Way.

According to reports, just before 4 p.m., a Toyota was traveling west along Palm Way when it struck a female pedestrian in the roadway. The impact of the collision caused the victim to fall onto another vehicle, which was traveling east, before falling to the ground.

The driver of the Toyota fled the scene of the incident without stopping.

The juvenile pedestrian was transported to an area hospital, where she was treated for several serious injuries.

The driver of the vehicle, who was later identified as 34-year-old Alexann Dillard, returned to the scene roughly 20-minutes later. Dillard was arrested for failing to stop and render aid.
