Fort Worth, TX – 11-Year-Old Dies At Ladera Palms Apartments On Baroque

Fort Worth, TX (May 7, 2019) – On May 6, Police and emergency crews responded to the scene of a fall incident at the Ladera Palms Apartments located in the 2300 block of Baroque Drive.

According to reports, an 11-year-old boy was attempting to get into the secured pool area when he slipped and fell. According to Officer Bradley Perez, shortly before 7 p.m., the boy lost his footing while climbing over an iron fence. As a result, the boy was impaled.

The young boy, who was later identified as Jean Pierre Mwenge, was transported to an area hospital where he later succumbed to his injuries.
