Lufkin, TX – Nakishia Samuels Arrested For Crash On Timberland Dr
Lufkin, TX (May 7, 2019) – On May 4, Lufkin Police Department Officer Seth Thompson was investigating a crash in the Cox Muffler parking lot when he was struck by a motor vehicle. The driver of the vehicle fled the scene of the incident without stopping.
Thompson was seriously injured in the collision and transported to UT Health Tyler Hospital where he remains at this time.
On Tuesday, the Texas Department of Public Safety announced that they have arrested 40-year-old Nakishia Samuels, who was identified as the driver of the vehicle which struck the officer.
