Beaumont, TX (May 8, 2019) – On Tuesday, May 7, Beaumont Police Department responded to the scene of a pedestrian accident at the intersection of Fannett Drive and Cardinal Road.

According to reports, just after 6 a.m., a male was in the roadway picking up debris when he was struck by a motor vehicle.

The unidentified male was injured in the incident and transported to an area hospital for medical treatment.

The Beaumont Police Department is actively investigating the incident at this time.
