Houston, TX – 1-Year-Old Killed In Crash On North Freeway
Houston, TX (May 8, 2019) – On Sunday, May 5, Houston Police Department responded to the scene of a motor vehicle collision along the North Freeway.
According to reports, just after 2 p.m., a woman in a blue Honda CR-V was traveling north in the 11500 block of North Interstate Highway when she suffered a medical episode. The woman lost control of her vehicle, crossing over several lanes of traffic before crashing into a tan Toyota Prius, which was disabled and parked along the right shoulder of the roadway.
A 1-year-old child in the rear of the Toyota sustained major injuries in the collision. The child was transported to an area hospital for immediate medical attention. Authorities confirm that the little girl passed away as the result of her injuries.
