Kingsville, TX (May 8, 2019) – On May 8, police and emergency crews responded to the scene of a collision on General Cavazos Boulevard, near the Walmart.

According to police, a 22-year-old female student from the Texas A&M University at Kingsville was traveling along the roadway on a motorcycle when an SUV pulled out in front of her. The motorcycle collided with the SUV, causes the female to be ejected from the motorcycle.

The woman was rushed to an area hospital in critical condition. Although she was wearing a helmet, authorities confirm that the student later succumbed to her injuries.
