Lubbock, TX – Crash On 50th Street & University Ave Results In Injuries

Lubbock, TX (May 8, 2019) – On May 8, around 3:45 p.m., Lubbock Police responded to the scene of a collision near the intersection of 50th Street and University Avenue.

According to reports, four-vehicle collided along the intersection for unknown reasons. The four vehicles involved in the crash were a Lubbock Police Department pickup truck, a second pickup truck, a school bus, and an SUV.

Lubbock ISD confirms that the bus had six students on it at the time of the incident, but they all made it through the collision uninjured. Unfortunately, the officer involved in the collision sustained moderate injuries. The officer, as well as three victims with minor injuries, were transported to an area hospital for treatment.
