Henderson, TX – Charles Edward Price Named Victim Of SH-155 Crash

Henderson, TX (May 9, 2019) – On May 9, Texas Department of Public Safety released the name of the victim killed in State Highway 155 crash earlier this month.

According to reports, on Wednesday, May 1, Texas Department of Public Safety responded to the scene of a motor vehicle collision on State Highway 155.

The incident occurred around 1:45 p.m., just 1.5 miles north of Coffee City when Charles Edward Price was traveling north on SH-155 in a 2009 Mercedes Benz. For unknown reasons, Price entered into the southbound lanes of the interstate and struck a 2017 Cadillac, which was driven by 54-year-old Sheryl Anne Keel, head-on.

The force of the impact caused the Cadillac to spin. Price was ejected from the vehicle and pronounced deceased at the scene of the incident. Keel was injured in the incident and transported to an area hospital in stable condition.
