Houston, TX – One Person Killed In Crash On Highway 90

Houston, TX (May 9, 2019) – On May 9, around 2 a.m., Texas Department of Public Safety responded to the scene of a collision on Highway 90.

Authorities state that a 19-year-old intoxicated male was traveling south along Highway 90 in the northbound lanes when he struck another vehicle head-on. Both vehicles went up in flames immediately following impact.

The driver of the other vehicle was killed instantly in the collision. The intoxicated male exited his vehicle and attempted to run away on foot when he was apprehended. The 19-year-old was arrested and charged with intoxication manslaughter and failing to stop and render aid.

We would like to offer our sincere condolences to the family victim who lost their life in this accident.  Our thoughts are with them at this time.
