Bexar County, TX – 1 Killed & 5 Injured In Explosion On Old Corpus Christi Road

Bexar County, TX (May 10, 2019) – On May 10, Bexar County Emergency Crews responded to the scene of a tanker explosion on Old Corpus Christi Road.

According to reports, numerous individuals were inside Alamo Junction Rail Park, in the 12500 block of Old Corpus Christi Road, working on a rail tanker when it exploded.

Workers at the location were cleaning residue in the tanker at the time of the explosion. One individual was killed in the incident. Five others were transported to Brooke Army Medical Center, one in critical condition, for medical treatment.
