Marshall, TX – Jacobi Scott and Shelvin Keller Killed In Crash On US 59

Marshall, TX (May 10, 2019) – On May 8, the Texas Department of Public Safety responded to a motor vehicle accident along US Highway 59 near the exit for Loop 390.

According to police, two men, who were later identified as Jacobi Scott and Shelvin Keller, were traveling along the Highway when they were struck by a semi-truck.

Both Scott and Keller were pronounced deceased at the scene of the incident. The cause of the collision remains under investigation at this time.

Both Scott and Keller were students at Southwestern College who were traveling home for summer break when the collision occurred.
