Sulphur Springs, TX – Man Dies After Being Struck By Train On S Locust St

Sulphur Springs, TX (May 10, 2019) – On May 10, just after 5:14 p.m., Sulphur Springs Police Department responded to the scene of a pedestrian accident on South Locust Street.

According to reports, a 51-year-old local man was pushing a bicycle north along South Locust Street when he was struck by a train traveling east across the roadway.

The man was transported to CHRISTUS Mother Frances Hospital where he later succumbed to his injuries.

An investigation surrounding this incident is ongoing at this time.
