Texas City, TX – Crash On Highway 3 Results In Fatalities And Injuries
Texas City, TX (May 10, 2019) – Around 8 p.m. on Thursday, May 9, Texas City Police Department responded to the scene of a motor vehicle accident near the intersection of Highway 3 and Mentor Drive.
According to police, a motorcycle and another motor vehicle collided on the roadway for unknown reasons. Police continue to investigate the direction in which each vehicle was traveling to determine the cause of the incident.
One person involved in the collision was declared deceased at the scene by responding officers. A woman was removed from the vehicle and transported to Mainland Medical Center where she later succumbed to her injuries.
A third person was transported to the University of Texas Medical Branch Hospital in Galveston in critical condition.
A fourth person, a juvenile, was treated at the scene of the incident and released to their parents.
