Austin, TX (May 11, 2019) On the 11th of May, a traffic crash occurred on Interstate 35 at Parmer Lane. An unknown number of vehicles crashed into each other around 7:00 p.m.

When the paramedics responded to the accident, they found an unspecified number of people injured and immediately tended to them. Everyone who needed extended care was rushed to the nearest hospital for further evaluation.

Crews helped clear up the accident while the police investigated.

Our thoughts are with all of the injured victims at this time.

Vehicle Accidents in Texas

In 2016, at least one person lost their lives every day on Texas roads as a result of car accidents. It’s unfortunate that most of these accidents could be prevented if drivers were less distracted, abided by all traffic laws, refrained from driving under the influence, and did not drive above or below speed limits. Because drivers often get side-tracked while they’re driving, they’re unable to brake quick enough or they don’t check their surroundings before switching lanes. Therefore, it’s very important for all drivers to prioritize their safety in order to avoid accidentally causing major accidents.
