Austin, TX – Christian Barrios Identified In Fatal Head-On Collision On I-35 Crash

Austin, TX (May 14, 2019) – On May 12, around 3:50 a.m., Texas Department of Public Safety responded to the scene of a motor vehicle accident in the 11,100 block of Interstate 35 Northbound.

According to reports, 21-year-old Christian Barrios was traveling south along Interstate 35 in the northbound lanes in a 2018 Hyundai Elantra when he struck a GMC Yukon head-on.

Barrios was pronounced deceased at the scene of the incident. The two occupants of the Yukon were transported to an area hospital for treatment to injuries sustained in the collision.
