Dallas, TX – Driver On Drugs Charged For Injury Crash On Scyene Rd

Dallas, TX (May 14, 2019) – On Saturday, May 11, Dallas Police responded to the scene of a motor vehicle accident in the 10100 block of Scyene Road.

Just after 8 p.m., a male in a 2002 brown Mercury sedan was speeding along the roadway. The driver entered into the center of the lanes in an attempt to pass between two motor vehicles – a 2015 Dodge SUV and a 2008 white Toyota sedan.

While traveling in the middle of the lanes, the driver in the Mercury collided with the Toyota as it approached a red light on Scyene Road near Masters Drive. At the same time, the Mercury collided with the Dodge.

A six-year-old involved in this collision sustained injuries and was transported to an area hospital in serious condition.

The driver of the Mercury has since been arrested for drugs for this incident.
