Spring, TX – Worker Trapped in Trench Collapse On Champion Forest Dr.

Spring, TX (May 14, 2019) – On May 14, Klein Fire Department responded to the scene of a worksite incident in the 18900 block of Champions Forest Drive.

According to reports, a worker was using a backhoe to dig a utility trench, around 3 p.m. For unknown reasons, the worker got off the backhoe and entered into the trench. After entering, the hole collapsed around the worker, trapping him waist-deep in the dirt.

The injured worker was treated at the scene by emergency crews while Life Flight stood by.
