Angelina County, TX – Man Killed In Crash On FM-1669

Angelina County, TX (May 16, 2019) – On May 15, around 6:20 p.m., Texas Department of Public Safety responded to the scene of a motor vehicle accident on FM 1669.

Preliminary investigations of the incident show that a 1995 Peterbilt truck tractor semi-trailer was traveling north on FM 1669, transporting oil field equipment, when a piece of unsecured equipment swung over onto the southbound lane and struck a 2019 Chevrolet pickup truck.

The driver of the Chevrolet, who was identified as 38-year-old Jeremy Johnson, was pronounced deceased at the scene of the incident.
