Comanche County, TX – 19-Year-Old Killed, 2 Injured, In Crash On US-67
Comanche County, TX (May 16, 2019) – On May 16, just before 5:15 a.m., Texas Department of Public Safety received a report for a motor vehicle accident on US-67.
According to reports, 19-year-old Carla Teresita Ontiveros-Lara was traveling east on US-67 in a 2013 Ford Fiesta when her vehicle veered into the westbound lane and struck a 2008 Ford F-350 head-on.
The driver of the pickup, who was identified as 39-year-old Humberto Garcia, was transported to Harris Methodist Hospital in critical condition.
A passenger in one of the vehicles, 41-year-old Hipolito Maya Gonzales, was transported to Comanche County Medical Center in serious condition.
Carla Teresita Ontiveros-Lara was pronounced deceased at the scene of the incident.
