Lubbock, TX – Gloria Valdez Killed In Accident On Avenue Q

Lubbock, TX (May 16, 2019) – On Tuesday evening, May 14, Lubbock Police responded to the scene of a pedestrian accident on Avenue Q.

According to reports, a 1999 Chevrolet Suburban was traveling along Avenue Q when it struck a female pedestrian, who was walking a bicycle with her dog down the roadway.

The woman and the dog were both killed in the incident. Police later identified the victim as 52-year-old Gloria Valdez. The police are continuing to search for the driver of the vehicle responsible for the incident.
