Odessa, TX (May 16, 2019) – Around 9:30 a.m., police and emergency crews responded to the scene of a pedestrian accident near the intersection of 5th Street and Dixie Boulevard.

According to reports, a 37-year-old woman from Odessa was attempting to cross Dixie Boulevard when she was struck by a FedEx truck.

The woman sustained serious and life-threatening injuries and was airlifted to a hospital in Lubbock.
