Rusk County, TX (May 16, 2019) – Around 9 a.m. on May 16, emergency crews responded to the scene of an oil field accident in Rusk County near Henderson.

According to reports, two workers were working on a well. As the workers were picking up piping on site, the pipes separated. A piece of the piping struck one worker in the head and a second worker in the back.

Both injured workers were transported to area hospitals via helicopter for emergency treatment to their injuries.
