Corpus Christi, TX – 2 Teenagers Injured in Pedestrian Accident on Staples Rd

Corpus Christi, TX (May 18, 2019) On the evening of May 16th, a pedestrian accident happened at the intersection of Staples Road and Everhart Road. Two teenagers were crossing the street when a vehicle struck both of them.

When the ambulance made it to the intersection, they found both teens suffering from injuries and immediately took them to Coastal Bend Hospital for further treatment.

Authorities are currently investigating the accident to determine why the driver struck the teens. They don’t believe alcohol was a contributing factor, but the driver has been cited for failure to yield the right-of-way to the two teenagers.

Our thoughts are with the two injured teens and their families as they recover.
