El Paso, TX – Police Officer Injured in Motorcycle Accident on Loop 375

El Paso, TX (May 18, 2019) On the morning of May 17th, a motorcycle accident happened on Loop 375, just south of Edgemere Boulevard. An off-duty police officer was traveling in a 2018 Honda Shadow motorcycle while escorting a funeral procession when a 2003 Lexus struck him.

The paramedics rushed to the scene to help the injured officer and immediately transported him to the nearest hospital for treatment.

Authorities are currently investigating the accident to determine why the driver of the Lexus was unable to stop in time before striking the officer.
