San Antonio, TX – Police Officer Injured in Accident on Huebner Rd

San Antonio, TX (May 18, 2019) On the evening of May 16th, an accident involving a patrol vehicle occurred at the intersection of Huebner Road and Vance Jackson Road. A patrol vehicle was stopped at the intersection waiting for a red light to turn green when it was rear-ended by a sedan.

When the paramedics arrived to help, they found the police officer suffering from injuries and immediately transferred him to a nearby hospital for treatment.

Investigators are working to figure out what led up to the collision, but alcohol or drugs are not suspected to be contributing factors.

Our thoughts are with the injured police officer and his family at this time.

Vehicle Accidents in Texas

San Antonio, TX – Police Officer Injured in Accident on Huebner RdWhenever rear-end accidents occur, the cause is often cars driving too closely behind the car in front of them. Drivers who do this are usually in a rush and think driving aggressively will force the car ahead of them to drive faster. Driving too closely behind other vehicles is unsafe because if the vehicle in front suddenly brakes for any reason, a serious accident is bound to happen.

At Benton Law Firm, we encourage those who have sustained injuries in rear-end accidents to consult with one of our experienced Texas personal injury attorneys so that we can fight for their rights and help them get the money they are entitled to for medical treatment.
