Midland, TX (May 21, 2019) – On May 21, police and emergency crews responded to the scene of a motor vehicle accident on Business 20 involving a train.

According to reports, a deputy from the Midland County Sheriff’s Office was responded to a call for an infant having difficulty breathing when he was struck in his vehicle by a train along Business 20 and South Country Road 1250.

The deputy sustained some injuries in the collision and was transported to an area hospital for medical treatment. Other emergency crews were able to respond to the call for the infant.
