San Antonio, TX (May 21, 2019) – Around 12:30 a.m. on May 21, San Antonio Police responded to the scene of a pedestrian accident near the intersection of West Harlan and South Zarzamora Street.

Police arrived to the scene of the incident to file a male in his 30s or 40s in the roadway. His midsection appeared to be run over by a vehicle and his arm and leg sustained severe injuries.

Officers initially thought the pedestrian was killed in the incident but later discovered he was still breathing. The injured male was transported to an area hospital for immediate medical attention.

The driver responsible for the incident left the scene of the crash but later contacted police to turn themselves in for their involvement.
