Longview, TX – Perry Pettit Killed On Delia Drive In Tree Trimming Incident

Longview, TX (May 23, 2019) – On Wednesday, May 22, Longview Police Department responded to the scene of an accident in the 1100 block of Delia Drive.

According to reports, 58-year-old Perry Pettit, a self-employed tree cutter, was trimming a tree at a property on the road when he fell. Pettit became entangled in the branches of the tree.

Emergency crews responded to the scene and transported Pettit to an area hospital where he was later pronounced deceased as a result of his injuries.
