Bicycle Accidents in Texas
Unfortunately, between the years of 2007-2012, statistics show that 12,789 bicycle accidents have occurred in Texas. When bicycle crashes happen late at night, it’s often because drivers don’t see bicyclists on the road due to distractions, alcohol, drugs, or poorly lit roads. If bicyclists are wearing dark clothing and don’t have a light on their helmet or bicycle, it makes it harder for drivers to see them, especially if drivers are not paying attention.
At Benton Law Firm, our experienced Texas wrongful death lawyers have helped numerous families over the years win their wrongful death lawsuits against negligent drivers. We know that no amount of money could replace the lives of their loved ones, but we are aware of how expensive funeral costs can be and we don’t believe families should be held financially responsible for a negligent driver’s actions. If you lost a loved one in a bicycle accident, call our office today for a free consultation at 214-219-4878.
