Pedestrian Accidents in Texas
In 2015, over 3,000 accidents happened in the city of Beaumont, which also included fatal pedestrian accidents. When vehicles strike pedestrians late at night, especially during the weekend, there’s a high possibility that drivers are under the influence at the time of the accident. When drivers consume too much alcohol and attempt to operate their vehicles after dark, they’re more likely to not see pedestrians, ignore traffic signs, and drive above the speed limit.
