Pedestrian Accidents in Houston

Houston, TX – Walter Davis Jr Killed in Fatal Pedestrian Accident on Alameda RdIn 2016, approximately 71 pedestrians had lost their lives by the month of October in Houston. When drivers strike pedestrians late into the evening, the cause is often driving under the influence. When drivers get behind the wheel after consuming too much alcohol, they lose control of their bodies, including their vision, making them less likely to see a pedestrian in time before braking. Drivers are also more likely to speed and disobey traffic laws while impaired.
