Motorcycle Accidents in Texas
In 2015, the city of Lewisville had approximately 2,938 vehicle collisions, some of which included motorcycles. When drivers strike motorcyclists late at night, alcohol or drugs could be factors, along with fatigue or dark roads. When drivers get behind the wheel under these circumstances, they risk speeding and disregarding traffic laws, which causes them to accidentally strike motorcyclists. Unfortunately, because motorcycles expose the rider’s body, they’re more prone to sustaining catastrophic or fatal injuries upon impact.
