San Antonio, TX – Woman Killed in Fatal Pedestrian Accident on 38th St

San Antonio, TX (May 25, 2019) On the evening of May 24th, a fatal pedestrian crash happened on 38th Street and Enrique Barrera Highway.

As a black pickup truck was turning on the highway, it struck a woman who was trying to cross the street. Shortly after, a white pickup truck also struck the woman. The accident happened at around 10:45 p.m.

When emergency crews got to the scene, they found the woman lying in the roadway critically injured. Despite life-saving attempts, the woman succumbed to her injuries at the scene.

Fortunately, both of the drivers remained at the scene while investigators evaluated the area.

Our thoughts are with the deceased woman’s family at this time.
