Amarillo, TX – Jon Edward Phillips Killed In Crash On Western St & Hester Rd

Amarillo, TX (May 27, 2019) – On Sunday, May 26, Amarillo police and emergency crews responded to the scene of a motor vehicle accident near Western Street and Hester Road around 9:11 p.m.

According to reports, 52-year-old Jon Edward Phillips was traveling south along Western when he crashed his motorcycle into the rear end of a pickup truck driven by 19-year-old Page Dianna Ansaldo.

Phillips sustained serious injuries in the collision and was transported to an area hospital for medical treatment. Authorities later confirmed that Phillips died as the result of his injuries.
